By the mid twentieth century, the original of Egyptian authors, including Yusef Greiss, Abu Bakr Khairat, and Hasan Rashid, started composing for Western instruments. The second era of Egyptian arrangers included eminent craftsmen, for example, Gamal Abdelrahim. Delegate writers of the third era are Ahmed El-Saedi and Rageh Daoud. In the mid 21st century, even fourth era arrangers, for example, Mohamed Abdelwahab Abdelfattah (of the Cairo Conservatory) have picked up global consideration. ----
