Twinka First the dancer will start with her waist
how to do the move “Twinka”. First the dancer will start with her waist, and then add the hand movements. The dancer moves her waist in four points: right, back, left, and then right (to the starting point); the opposite would be: left, back, right, and then left (to the starting point). To add the hands to the movement, the dancer puts one hand on her waist (at the start of her hip), and the other hand on her head (her palm open, and touching her head with her fingers). In the opposite moves, the position of the hands switches (the right one in the place of the left, and the left one in the place of the right). Another hands position is putting them both on the head, with the elbows open. The dancer moves her head following the moves of her waist and hips. ----
---- Another move of the waist would be to move it on the same side with a turn. Notice the curve that the dancer’s body makes when she moves her hips. Her hands are in the same position as before, one on her hip and the other on her head; or later both of her hands on her head. The move is also done with the other side.
