Belly dance from side
The dancer stands with her side to the camera, her right leg to the camera and in front of the left one, her back doing a curve, her right hand to her waist, and her left hand to her head. Then, the dancer does the round moves with her right hip. From the down side to the up. Her right leg only touches the floor with her toes. Her left elbow open, and her right elbow to the back. The same move is done with the other side, using the left hip. Facing the camera, the dancer has both of her hands on her head, and makes the round moves with her hips. To the down and then to the up. You can put your right hand on your right hip, and keep your left hand on your head. The dancer then crosses her hands in front of her, and does the “Twinka” move: her hips making a round move; to the side, back, side, and front. Then, the dancer has both of her hands on her waist, one leg in front of the other, and goes down and up, and she repeats with round moves. The elbow goes up with the front, and back down. ---
---- the movement of the waist and belly. As a practice, the dancer goes down and up in a wave. Notice how her body is moving in the wave shape. The second move is the moving of the hips to the left and right, while having the hands as a “T” shape with the body. The moves are repeated, one to the left and one to the right. Then, the dancer makes a turn with her waist, to the both ways. Notice that the back of the dancer is not going down as she turns. Her back stays straight up, and the rounds are done by the waist and hips only.
